The Committee

 

Under our Constitution, approved by the Charity Commission and OfSTED, we operate with a Parents' Committee, each member of whom becomes a Trustee of our Charity.

Committee members are volunteers, and find time, in often busy life schedules, to help the Pre-school to function as a viable business.

​

The Committee is responsible for reviewing both policy and practice, managing the finances, and for the employment of staff.

​

Our Financial year ends on 31st August. In the Autumn term, we hold an Annual General Meeting, to present the Trustees' Annual Report, which sits alongside the Accounts, and to elect the Trustees (Committee) for the year ahead. The AGM is open to the parents/carers of all of the children who attend the setting.
